Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Migration & Modernization Tech BDM for US SLG/EDU and WWPS migrations to lead large-scale cloud adoption and modernization initiatives.

You will engage with senior business and technical leaders to define migration roadmaps, build business cases, and drive AI-enabled modernization programs across government and education customers. You will partner with AWS field teams to craft go-to-market motions, leverage migration accelerators, and scale engagements

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise application modernization and migration across mainframe, serverless, containers or cloud ops.
• Go-to-market, business development, sales or consulting experience with customer-facing impact.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customer application owners and developers to plan migration and modernization.
• Deliver business cases and support migration commitments for AWS cloud adoption.
• Identify AI modernization use cases to unlock capabilities and accelerate innovation.
• Develop plans and ensure clear value proposition for migrating workloads to AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive consistent outcomes.
• Scale migration programs across SLG/EDU with AI/agentic tooling.
• Capture results and present progress to executive leadership.
