Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Migration Technical Business Development Manager to drive large-scale cloud migration and modernization with US Federal customers.

You will engage with senior leaders to articulate business value, develop AI-driven modernization roadmaps, and lead cross-functional programs that scale with partners and field teams. You will shape engagements, craft business cases, and collaborate with sales, solutions architecture, and professional services to accelerate

Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale enterprise modernization programs.
• Proven ability to articulate business value of migrations to diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in government/public sector engagements and multi-team programs.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet regularly with customer application owners and development teams to determine workload development/transition status, identify blockers, and develop migration plans including AI modernization pathways.
• Develop migration and modernization business cases and support account teams in driving commitments.
• Identify opportunities to build compelling proposals for business value from migrations including AI modernization use cases.
• Provide path forward for customers to build migration plans and confirm AWS value proposition.
• Collaborate with technical and industry teams to drive consistent outcomes across engagements.
• Scale migration programs across the Federal vertical using AI and agentic tools.
• Capture results and present progress to executive leadership.

Education

Master's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or MBA

10+ years of technology transformation experience

5+ years in customer facing roles leading large-scale transformation programs

5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting

Experience explaining complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences

Public Sector experience with government/education/non-profit
