Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Solar Site Field Engineer to support the construction of utility-scale solar projects across the United States. This on-site role serves the Midwest portfolio, with assignments in Bellwood, NE and Altoona, KS, and involves day-to-day engineering, quality, and project execution activities on active construction sites.

Responsibilities include coordinating AHJ inspections, FAIs, drawing documentation, RFIs, subcontractor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections with local, county, and state AHJs.
• Create First Article Inspections (FAIs) to verify conformance with design specifications.
• Document and maintain construction drawings, including red-line sets.
• Compose and manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams to the Scope of Work.
• Review construction material submittals and assist in pre-construction planning.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress and issues.
