DEPCOM Power, Inc. seeks a Solar Site Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States.

This project-site-based role requires on-site work at active construction sites to support day-to-day engineering, quality, and project execution activities. Assignments may rotate through Midwest projects, serving a portfolio that includes Altoona, KS; Bellwood, NE; Harrodsburg, KY; and Spring Grove, VA.

Qualifications

• Experience meeting deadlines and generating reports.
• Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and discussions with AHJs.
• Create First Article Inspections to verify field construction against design specs.
• Document and maintain construction/engineering drawings, including red-line sets.
• Manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams accountable to their scopes of work.
• Review construction material submittals.
• Assist in preparing specifications and data sheets for pre-construction planning.
• Maintain storm water documentation and remediation records.
• Proactively manage project constraints with project management and site teams.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress and issues.
