Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Solar Site Field Engineer to support the construction of utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure across the United States. This on-site role works at active construction sites to support day-to-day engineering, quality, and project execution.

You will be assigned to the Mid-West portfolio with rotations every 3-4 weeks, and may operate on sites in Harrodsburg, KY, Altoona, KS, Bellwood, NE, and Spring Grove, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Experience operating drones or possessing an Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) license.
• Experience in Field Engineering, Project Engineering, or Construction Management in the Renewables or Oil & Energy fields.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inspections and AHJ discussions.
• Create and conduct FAIs to verify site construction to design specs.
• Document and maintain construction drawings, including red-line sets.
• Compose and manage RFIs between construction teams, engineers, vendors, and project owners.
• Hold subcontractors and self-perform teams to their Scopes of Work.
• Review construction material submittals.
• Assist in preparation of specifications and data sheets.
• Maintain storm water documentation logs and remediation.
• Collaborate with project management and engineering to manage constraints.
• Operate drones to capture construction progress/issues.
