Opta Search partners with a leading packaging automation business to appoint a Regional Sales Manager for the Midwest, USA. This is a high-impact, field-based role with full responsibility for driving revenue growth and developing key accounts across the region.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in capital equipment sales within packaging automation or engineered-solutions environments and can build relationships with manufacturers to close complex, high-value deals.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Regional Sales Manager or similar role in packaging automation or engineered equipment markets.
• Strong understanding of packaging solutions such as case packing, palletising and robotics.
• Track record of winning new business and growing key accounts.
• Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
• Established Midwest manufacturer network across Food & Beverage, CPG, Pharma or After-Sales services.

Responsabilités

• Take full ownership of the Midwest territory and drive revenue growth.
• Identify, develop and close new business opportunities with end users and OEMs.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and decision-makers.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Applications, Project Management and Service teams to deliver tailored automation solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to proposal, negotiation and close.
