Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead actuation technologies sales in the Midwest. This role reports to the Americas Sales Director and involves direct customer and channel engagement, strategic pricing, and strong partner collaboration.

Travel up to 70% is required to cover markets from Chicago to Indianapolis. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in valve automation sales, established EPC/OEM relationships, and a proven track record growing sales in industrial markets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience selling electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electro-hydraulic valve automation solutions.
• Travel up to 70% to cover Midwest territory.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive Regional Sales Growth through direct customer and channel engagement.
• Lead Commercial Strategy: pricing, quotations, and negotiations.
• Manage Channel Partners including reps and distributors to grow regional business.
• Drive Channel Performance with measurable objectives and pipeline development.
• Develop customer and partner relationships via regular visits and opportunities.
• Expand Installed Base opportunities via replacements, modernization, and lifecycle service.
• Maintain Pipeline & CRM accuracy for specs, pursuits, quotations, and orders.
• Lead forecasting and business planning with monthly, quarterly, and annual horizons.
• Provide market and technical insights to support growth and strategy.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and events across the territory.
