Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead the promotion and sales of Actuation Technologies across the Midwest. The role reports to the Americas Sales Director and involves building strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales objectives.

Preferred locations include Kansas City, MO or KS, North or South Dakota, Minneapolis, MN, Chicago, IL, or Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience selling electric, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electro‑hydraulic valve automation solutions.
Travel up to 70%.
Legal authorization to work in the US; visa sponsorship will not be provided.

Responsibilities

Drive regional sales growth and achieve sales objectives through direct customer and channel engagement.
Lead commercial strategy, including pricing, quotes, contracts, and risk management.
Manage channel partners to achieve regional growth objectives.
Drive channel performance with partner objectives, pipeline, and forecast accuracy.
Develop customer and partner relationships through visits and pursuit strategies.
Expand installed base opportunities for replacements, modernization, and lifecycle services.
Maintain pipeline and CRM accuracy with specifications, quotations, and orders.
Lead monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting and business planning.
Provide market and technical insights to support growth and strategy.
Deliver technical presentations, product demos, and factory visits across the territory.
