Job summary

Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH) is seeking an Operations Supervisor- IMO to oversee front-office trading interfaces, oversight, and back-office servicing for the Middle Office. You will lead a small team, act as the escalation point, and drive performance development while aligning processes with client service agreements.

Responsibilities include QA of transactions, risk management, and training new hires. The role requires detailed focus, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a strong

Qualifications

• BA or Equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel advanced skills preferred
• Knowledge of industry regulations, financial markets and industry vendor products preferred (i.e. matching utilities, custodians, accounting platforms)
• Experience working with applications such as Bloomberg, DTTC ITP, SWIFT, FactSet, etc.
• Ability to stay focused on detailed information for long periods of time
• Ability to discern numbers and number sequences, reading comprehension
• Ability to manage hourly and daily deadlines
• Read, write and speak in English

Responsibilities

• QA of transaction processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Provide coaching, assign work, and manage daily team priorities
• Mitigate risk by maintaining up-to-date procedures and data integrity
• Support client interactions and onboarding, and train new hires
