Paychex is seeking a Mid-Market Sales professional to partner with growing businesses (20–99 employees) in the Salt Lake City area, helping them scale payroll, HR and benefits with our connected HCM platform. This consultative, relationship-driven role emphasizes outbound prospecting, building a robust pipeline, and guiding business owners to trusted advisor status while owning the full sales cycle.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma - Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 2+ years in B2B Sales/Marketing.
• 2 years in Human Capital Management (HCM) industry.
• Cold Calling experience.
• CRM software experience.
• Valid Driver's License - Required

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory
• Sell a robust suite of solutions, including Paychex Flex and advanced HR services
• Execute outbound activity to build a pipeline
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers
• Manage a high velocity sales process with small and mid-size businesses (1-2 call closes)
• Own the full sales process—from discovery and solutioning to closing
