Job summary

Paychex is seeking a driven sales professional to grow our mid-market footprint in a consultative, relationship-driven role. You will partner with growing businesses to strengthen people operations, scale with confidence, and become a trusted advisor to business owners.

You will lead outbound efforts, manage a robust sales pipeline, and drive end-to-end deals from discovery to closing, with opportunities to advance in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional sales experience in B2B environments.
• 2+ years HCM or related industry experience preferred.
• Strong prospecting and outbound strategies.
• CRM software experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business by prospecting and winning new logos within your assigned territory.
• Sell a robust suite of solutions, including Paychex Flex® and advanced HR services.
• Execute outbound activity to build a pipeline.
• Lead consultative sales conversations with business owners and key decision-makers.
• Manage a high velocity sales process with small and mid-size businesses (1-2 call closes).
• Own the full sales process from discovery and solutioning to closing.
