Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to ensure service delivery meets client expectations and to drive retention and plan optimization.

The role focuses on relationship-building with senior client stakeholders, plan design improvements, and cross-functional coordination across teams. The role emphasizes client retention, contract negotiations, and growth opportunities within the organization’s recordkeeping offerings.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in client service relationship management for defined contribution plans.
• State insurance license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Strong understanding of 401(k) plans and solid investment background.
• Strong client management experience and skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Travel – 35–50% of time; nationwide locations.
• This position is work from home in a location that can cover the designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management: meets with client stakeholders to develop trust-based relationships with executives, HR, advisors and TPAs.
• Client Retention and Contract Negotiations: manages RFIs, RFPs, benchmarking, pricing strategy and SLAs.
• Project Management: coordinates internal resources, sets live dates and scope; negotiates project costs.
• Client Growth: identifies opportunities for organic growth and cross-sale of Voya recordkeeping products.
