Job summary

Paychex is seeking sales professionals in Illinois to grow our client base by selling Paychex products and services. You will identify customer needs, present Paychex solutions to stakeholders, and drive revenue within Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales organizations.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, prospecting for new clients and referrals, analyzing customer needs to match products, and ensuring accurate paperwork and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in B2B Sales/Marketing.
• 2 years of experience in Human Capital Management (HCM) industry.
• Cold calling experience.
• Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software experience.
• Valid Driver’s License - Required.

Responsibilities

• Leverage the Go-to-Market Sales Strategy to identify customers’ needs and present the Paychex solution to key stakeholders and decision makers in accordance with the client’s preference on in person or virtual interaction to increase revenue and market share.
• Schedule appointments and visit potential and current referral sources to secure referrals to end users.
• Prospect for new clients and new referral sources utilizing telephone, direct mail, seminars, current client visits, or other local marketing programs directed by Sales management.
• Analyze the customer needs and interests, determine which products are appropriate, and refer to appropriate party when necessary.
• Complete and submit accurate new business paperwork, expense reports and weekly activity reports by dates agreed upon by Sales management.
• Expedite resolution of customer problems or complaints.
