Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer based in Ann Arbor, MI, or nearby Detroit area, with remote/hybrid options and site-visit requirements.

You will independently perform mechanical design tasks under supervision, supporting HVAC and plumbing across varied projects, and collaborate with project managers and teams to deliver design solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of post-graduation HVAC engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including load calculations, ductwork and piping design, equipment selection.
• Proficiency in Revit for mechanical design and documentation.
• Experience using Trane TRACE 3D Plus or equivalent for load and energy calculations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work remotely with strong self-management.

Responsabilités

• Perform HVAC load calculations using TRACE 3D Plus or equivalent software.
• Develop mechanical designs and construction documents using Revit.
• Design HVAC ductwork and piping systems per project requirements and codes.
• Evaluate existing HVAC systems and select appropriate equipment and solutions.
• Perform building energy calculations and analyses using TRACE 3D Plus or equivalent.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess and document existing systems.
