CDM Smith seeks a Mechanical Engineer with HVAC and plumbing expertise to lead design and feasibility activities on varied projects. The role supports hybrid work balancing office and remote time, with potential offices across several states.

You’ll contribute to sustainable design, mentor junior staff, and advance project leadership while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Domestic/international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Certification as an Engineer in Training (EIT) or FE exam within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Travel may be required domestically or internationally.

Responsabilités

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems including master planning and feasibility studies.
• Review designs for compliance with federal/state/local regulations.
• Perform site reviews to align with location specifications.
• Develop technical white papers and design documentation.
• Attend industry conferences and collaborate with sales teams.
• Provide mentorship and supervise project work.
