Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level Mechanical Engineer in Ann Arbor, MI, with a flexible remote/hybrid arrangement and site-visit requirements.

The role focuses on HVAC and plumbing design across diverse projects, offering growth within a collaborative engineering team. The candidate will perform load calculations, develop designs in Revit, and contribute to construction documents, while collaborating with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 5+ years of post-graduation experience in HVAC engineering and design.
• Proficient in HVAC load calculations, ductwork and piping design.
• Experience with Trane TRACE 3D Plus or equivalent energy software.
• Proficient in Revit for mechanical design and documentation.
• Strong communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills.
• Ability to work remotely while coordinating with project teams.

Responsabilités

• Perform HVAC load calculations using TRACE 3D Plus or equivalent.
• Develop mechanical system designs and construction documents in Revit.
• Design HVAC ductwork and piping to meet project requirements and codes.
• Evaluate existing systems and select appropriate equipment.
• Conduct site visits to assess building conditions and verify installations.
