dbHMS's Design Studio in Philadelphia, PA is seeking an Entry Level Mechanical Engineer to support HVAC system design for diverse projects. The role involves drafting, calculations, and collaboration with clients, reps, architects, and MEP engineers to develop spaces.

Ideal candidates hold a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a 3.0 GPA, basic drafting skills, and a drive to learn on the job. Hybrid/remote options exist, and occasional field visits may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering with GPA 3.0 or higher is required.
• Fundamental knowledge of HVAC systems and basic drafting.
• Willingness to learn and assist Senior Engineers under supervision.

Responsabilités

• Operate BIM Software.
• Read and understand construction documents, floor plans and equipment details.
• Operate Microsoft Office to perform engineering tasks.
• Assist in the design of HVAC systems under supervision.
• Perform load calculations under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.
