Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support GEOINT capabilities across NSG/ASG, NGA, NRO, and Federal Agencies. You will apply MBSE, systems engineering, and integration in cloud/hybrid environments to deliver mission-critical GEOINT.

A TS/SCI clearance and DoD/IC experience are preferred. Location is onsite in Chantilly or Springfield, VA, with a focus on requirements analysis, AoAs/CoAs, and cross-agency collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field with substitution options available.
• 6+ years of relevant DoD/IC acquisition or large System-of-Systems experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, SCI eligibility, or ability to obtain SCI with polygraph.
• Knowledge of NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises; NGA/NSG/ASG program experience.
• IC or DoD program experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systems and requirements engineering across NSG, ASG, and Federal environments.
• Trace user requirements and architectures to identify automation opportunities.
• Evaluate cloud capabilities, workflows, and scheduling limitations.
• Develop solution designs from requirements and mission needs.
• Assist Government in translating needs into requirements and technical solutions.
• Support allocation of requirements to architecture components and programs.
• Perform systems integration across complex environments.
• Contribute to AoAs, CoAs, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
• Support strategic planning, risk management, and interface design.
