Job summary

Peraton seeks a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support GEOINT capabilities across NSG/ASG, NGA, NRO, and Federal Agencies. You will apply multidisciplinary requirements and solutions engineering, perform system integration, and contribute to testing, evaluation, and maintainability across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The role requires 6+ years in government/industry, active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain it, and deep familiarity with NSG/ASG programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field; equivalent experience allowed.
• 6+ years of relevant government/industry experience in DoD/IC or similar environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, SCI eligibility, or ability to obtain SCI and complete a polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systems and requirements engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, and analysis across NSG/ASG and Federal environments.
• Trace user requirements and architectures to identify automation or improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate cloud service capabilities and scheduling limitations for mission solutions.
• Develop solution designs from analysis of requirements and emerging tech.
• Capture mission needs and translate them into system requirements and technical solutions.
• Support requirements allocation to architecture components and programs.
• Perform systems integration across complex environments.
• Support AoAs, CoAs, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
• Assist with strategic planning, project management, performance engineering, and risk management.
