You will perform maintenance and repair on heavy-duty vehicles, with a schedule that includes second shift and weekends off. Qualifications include a high school diploma, basic tools, and 2+ years of related experience; CDL-A preferred and CDL within 6 months after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience repairing automotive gas or diesel engines incl. routine maintenance.
• 2+ years of classroom or work experience in this field preferred.
• CDL Class A preferred; must obtain CDL within 6 months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty equipment.
• Conduct standard maintenance and component inspections.
• Diagnose mechanical/electronic problems using diagnostic tools.
• Identify root causes and replace defective parts.
• Maintain safety and DOT compliance requirements.
• Interact with customers/drivers to assess issues and plan repairs.
