Job summary

Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP is seeking a mid-level associate (4-6 years) to join our complex litigation group, defending high-stakes matters of national and international significance in aviation and transportation sectors. This position is open to all US offices.

We value excellent writing, experience across all stages of litigation, superior academics, and a client-centered approach with strong analytical skills. Clerkship experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clerkship, law review, moot court or publication.
• Experience with all stages of litigation including pre-trial discovery, motions, experts, and trial.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues such as contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law and admiralty issues.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join a complex litigation group handling high-stakes matters of national and international significance.
• Defend clients in aviation and transportation industry sectors across multiple offices.
• Contribute to case strategy, discovery, motions practice and trial preparation.
