Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the MICU in Albemarle, NC. The role runs 7p–7a with 24 hours per week, including holidays and weekends.

Expect to participate in patient care planning, administer treatments per protocols, and document precisely in the EHR while promoting safety and teamwork. Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience and a BSN is preferred; RN license must cover the applicable state(s).

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience.
• Active RN license in state(s) where providing care.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the team.
• Maintains safe clinical practices and adherence to ethics.
• Documentation in EHR must be accurate and timely.
