Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced RN for the MICU, working 7pm–7am, 36 hours per week. In this full-time role, you will apply the nursing process, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team.

You will ensure safety, patient education, and high-quality outcomes while maintaining timely documentation and compliance with standards. The role requires an RN license (multi-state compact preferred) and BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license (multi-state compact or single-state).
• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of clinical nursing experience typically required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in nursing process: assess, plan, diagnose, implement, evaluate patient care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Collaborate with care team to influence outcomes and ensure safety.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units within service area as needed.
• Delegate appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and aides.
