Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MICU unit on a 7P-7A schedule in Albemarle, NC. The role is full-time with 36 hours per week and benefits eligible. The RN will provide critical care, utilize nursing process, and promote safety while coordinating with the care team.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of clinical nursing experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. BSN is preferred; telehealth experience is not required.

Qualifications

• RN license required, BLS certification, and 1 year clinical nursing experience.
• Graduate of a nursing education program with the ability to obtain state licensure.
• BSN preferred as additional education credential.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance councils, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Maintain safety culture and accurate EHR documentation.
