Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the MICU (7p-7a) at Atrium Health Stanly. The role supports critical care, with weekend and holiday requirements. BLS and RN licensure with state privileges are required; 1 year of clinical nursing is typical.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the client is located.
• BLS certification.
• One year of clinical nursing experience typically required.

Responsibilities

• Engage in governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans; document in EHR.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol.
• Demonstrate safety culture and ethical practice; delegate appropriately.
• Possibly float to other units as needed; support growth and development.
