Job summary

Technologent is seeking a Microsoft Pre-Sales Engineer in Houston to translate business and technology needs into practical Microsoft-based solutions. You will support the sales team with technical discovery, solution architecture, customer presentations, and opportunity development.

The role requires 5+ years in pre-sales or related customer-facing tech roles, deep knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365, and the ability to communicate with engineers, IT leaders, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar client-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and Microsoft 365 with cloud, security and hybrid infra experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements and translate them into Microsoft solution opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and assess Microsoft environments and licensing.
• Communicate designs to technical and non-technical audiences and support proposals and demonstrations.
• Develop licensing recommendations and statements of work for proposals.
