Job summary

Technologent is seeking a Microsoft Pre-Sales Engineer in Denver, CO to translate business needs into Microsoft-based solutions. You will partner with Account Executives and delivery teams to assess, design, and present cloud, identity, security, and collaboration solutions.

The role focuses on technical discovery, solution architecture, customer demonstrations, and proposals across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender, and related technologies, with travel as needed within the region.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure across cloud, identity, security, and collaboration.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into technical designs and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor and partner with Account Executives to identify customer requirements and Microsoft opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and assess customers' Microsoft environments, licensing, and security posture.
• Communicate technical designs and business value to engineers, IT leaders, and executives.
• Support account planning, technical qualification, proposals, demonstrations, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Design high-level solutions across Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel, Windows/Windows Server, AD, and hybrid identity.
• Address hybrid and multi-cloud integration with data centers, networking, storage, and third-party platforms.
• Develop licensing recommendations, BOMs, solution components, and implementation assumptions for proposals and SOWs.
• Maintain knowledge of Microsoft licensing, cloud consumption, and partner programs; coordinate with sales, operations, and partners.
