Job summary

Technologent is seeking a Microsoft Pre-Sales Engineer to translate business needs into practical Microsoft-based solutions. Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical pre-sales or related customer-facing technical role.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft technologies, especially Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Experience leading technical discovery and translating requirements into solution architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as trusted technical advisor with Account Executives to identify requirements, challenges, business priorities and Microsoft opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and assessments of customers' Microsoft environments, licensing, security posture, cloud strategy and infrastructure; translate findings into solution recommendations.
• Engage stakeholders from engineers to IT leaders; communicate technical designs and business value clearly.
• Support account planning, proposals, demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and responses to technical questions and objections.
• Design high-level solutions across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Sentinel and related AI capabilities.
• Account for hybrid and multi-cloud environments and integration with customer data centers; address scalability and resiliency.
• Develop licensing recommendations, BOMs, and implementation assumptions; define requirements and exclusions for proposals.
• Maintain knowledge of Microsoft products, roadmap, licensing, cloud consumption and partner programs; coordinate with teams on configurations and pricing.
