Job summary

United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance for network connectivity, hardware, software, printers, and Microsoft 365 products for staff and volunteers. You will help maintain security, support cloud platforms, and assist with annual campaigns and online giving platforms.

The role involves onboarding/offboarding, AV support for meetings, and contributing to cyber security training and policy implementation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in related field or related industry certifications; bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in technical support.
• Experience in operating and supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience working in a nonprofit environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform help desk duties and provide assistance with hardware, systems, software, printers and copiers.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, repair or elevate as needed.
• Document support requests, resolutions, and recurring issues within the ticketing system.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power Automate, and Office applications
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding technology setup for employees.
• Assist in monitoring, maintaining and implementing controls, policies, procedures and training for organization cyber security
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of all system documentation, programming documentation, and in-house training guides.
• Provide Audio Video systems support for meeting rooms and in meeting AV support for presentations.
• Support campaign online giving platforms
• Support campaign materials printing, packing and supplies inventory.
• Other duties as assigned by the VP Information Services or Senior Leadership.
