Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Medical Laboratory Technologist to perform laboratory testing across multiple specialties in an acute setting. The role requires independent judgment, accuracy, and adherence to protocols. You will report results promptly and support quality assurance processes.

Flexible scheduling, with Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:30pm, every third weekend and two holidays per year, and 20 hours per week. MT/MLS or AMT certification may be required within one year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Sciences or Medical Technology related field.
• ASCP/MTS/AMT certifications within 1 year of hire or equivalent.
• No prior experience required for the role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilités

• Perform laboratory testing of biological specimens in an acute setting using manual or automated techniques.
• Monitor workflow and adjust to complete work in a timely manner.
• Evaluate results for clinical significance and report appropriately.
• Provide training and guidance to staff and students as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting standards and participate in quality control.
