Responsibilities

• Performs, evaluates, and monitors laboratory tests within established protocols.
• Evaluates results for clinical significance and reports results.
• Performs calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments.
• Documents quality control and quality assurance activities.
• Collects specimens from patients per protocol.
• Supports training and development of staff and students.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting standards and CAP requirements.
• Performs proficiency testing and specialty tests across multiple areas.
