Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related Science field is required.
• NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist License is required.
• 0-1 year of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports assigned analytical tests, including high complexity tests on biological specimens, in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner in compliance with documented laboratory procedures.
• Determines acceptability of specimens by performing visual inspections or by recognizing abnormal/unusual results; documents and communicates specimen requirements.
• Maintains QA policies to ensure validity of results and performs quality control for all testing.
