Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform clinical/technical tasks.
• Performs technical procedures in Molecular Pathology, Tumor Cytogenomics, Flow Cytometry per policy.
• Maintains documentation and QC records per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures in Molecular Pathology, Tumor Cytogenomics, Flow Cytometry per policy.
• Maintains equipment and performs calibration and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Maintains documentation including remedial action for problems encountered.
• Verifies results in LIS and logs QC data (Levy-Jennings charts).
• Reviews critical results with Nursing/Physician and documents communications.
• Prioritizes tasks to meet result turnaround times and notifies supervisor of delays.
• Assists in inventory control and ensures proper storage of reagents.
