Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Kansas City, MO is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician to perform basic microbiology techniques, culture preparation, and bacterial testing in a fast-paced lab. You will maintain accurate records, enter data into LIMS, and support a team with attention to detail in a safety-conscious environment.

Hourly pay ranges from $18.00 to $20.00, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• DOT certification may be required for shipping hazardous chemicals within 90 days of hire.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Apply GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility.
• Perform basic microbiology techniques and prepare media/cultures.
• Conduct bacterial testing (Total Coliform, E. coli, TPC, MPNs).
• Enter data into LIMS and maintain records per SOPs.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and prepare glassware.
• Distribute samples, log in Lab Management System, and ship kits as needed.
• Contribute to a small team of analysts and ensure safe, compliant operations.
