Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks a microbiology technician to perform basic lab analyses and prepare media/cultures. You will contribute to a small team handling bacterial test systems such as total coliforms, E. coli, and plate counts, while ensuring precise records and SOP compliance.

Responsibilities include sample intake, data entry in LIMS, and daily sample distribution to appropriate labs, with attention to safety and DOT/DOT-related procedures.

Qualifications

• Biology degree with microbiology coursework or lab experience.
• Experience with microbiological testing procedures and lab safety.
• Ability to follow SOPs and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic microbiology techniques and prepare media/cultures.
• Contribute to a small team handling bacterial test systems (e.g., total coliforms, E. coli, HPC, MPNs).
• Enter data into LIMS and maintain proper records per GLP/GMP.
• Prepare and ship sample kits and manage sample flow to labs daily.
