Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing South Central is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team, providing general support to laboratory operations and ensuring QA compliance. The role includes sample handling, preparation, labeling, and documentation.

Responsibilities include maintaining supplies, washing glassware, and adhering to safety protocols. This is a full-time on-site position with potential weekend hours and overtime. Compensation is $20 per hour with full benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience.
• Experience with warehouse / inventory skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation using aliquots, spike and trace, and related steps.
• Resolves discrepancies to ensure proper labeling.
• Prepares general laboratory paperwork and logs.
• Washes glassware and prepares for next day’s samples.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Cleans work areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Assists other laboratory areas as needed.
