Job summary

Qualifications

• Biology degree with minimum of 4 credit hours of Microbiology.
• Computers, word processing software and database software.
• Experience with Microbiological Laboratory and testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic micro lab techniques/analyses and prepare media/cultures.
• Maintain precise records of analyses per GMP/GLP.
• Enter data into LIMS system and prepare reports.
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment (incubators, water baths, refrigerators).
• Disposal of hazardous materials according to procedures.
• Assists in shipping and receiving samples and coordinating with DOT guidelines.
