Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) Kansas City site is seeking a full-time lab technician to support microbiology analyses. You will perform basic micro techniques, prepare media, and manage samples with careful record-keeping and LIMS data entry.

The ideal candidate holds a biological degree with microbiology coursework, can lift 50 lbs, and has a valid US driver’s license. DOT/EPA compliance and on-call readiness are part of the role. Pay range is $18–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

DOT certificate may be required for shipping hazardous chemicals within 90 days of hire.
US work authorization without sponsorship.
Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
Valid US driver’s license without recent incidents.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Experience with microbiological laboratory testing procedures.

Responsibilities

Perform basic microbiology techniques and prepare media/cultures.
Maintain precise records of analyses in accordance with good laboratory practice.
Enter data into LIMS and manage sample tracking.
Prepare and ship bottle kits and collect samples per SOPs.
Assist in writing, reviewing and editing reports and SOPs.
