Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in Louisville, KY seeks a Laboratory Technician I to support routine analytical testing and ensure quality compliance. Qualifications

• AS or BS Degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry or a related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements to ensure ISO/IEC 17025 compliance.
• Adheres to health, safety, and environmental regulations in analytical work.
• Registration of incoming samples and accurate daily records.
• Enter sample data into the Eurofins eLIMS system accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples; meet turnaround goals.
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
• Identify process difficulties and propose solutions to the supervisor.
• Maintain readiness to assist clients and co-workers.
