Microbac Laboratories, Inc. is hiring an Analyst I to perform routine scientific tasks within an accredited commercial laboratory. You will receive detailed instructions and work under supervision to support analytical testing for client projects.

Responsibilities include sample preparation, data recording, equipment setup, and adherence to safety and quality programs. This role offers a stable, growth-oriented environment with comprehensive benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; plus, two years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree.
• Basic knowledge of principles, terminology, practices and instrumentation commonly used in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines and rush orders.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements to prepare and process samples for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and set up laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Record observations and data accurately for peer review and logging in LIMS.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain logs/notebooks.
