Job summary

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science and NAACLS program completion.
• Current ASCP/AMT or equivalent certification as Clinical/Medical Laboratory Scientist.
• 10+ years of high complexity microbiology laboratory experience or HEW equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine and specialized microbiology procedures and ensure accuracy of results.
• Maintain quality management program, QA/QC, schedules, and documentation.
• Review daily test results and participate in staff evaluations and training.
• Lead staff training, competency documentation, and orientation activities.
• Ensure operational continuity across the Microbiology lab and related areas.
