Microbac Laboratories, Inc. in Warrendale, PA, is seeking a dedicated Analyst I to join our accredited laboratory team. You will perform routine scientific tasks under close supervision, following SOPs to support analytical testing for clients.

Key responsibilities include preparing standards, solutions, and samples; operating laboratory equipment; recording data; and maintaining logs and records in LIMS, with emphasis on accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Bachelor’s degree required.
• Basic knowledge of principles and instrumentation used in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to prepare and process samples and collect information for analytical testing.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples for analyses.
• Operate and set up specialized laboratory equipment.
• Accurately record observations and data and perform basic interpretation.
• Maintain logs, notebooks, and equipment records in LIMS.
• Monitor sample backlog and keep data organized and accessible.
• Contribute to safety and quality programs as required.
