Job summary

Sysco Pittsburgh, LLC is hiring for an Operations position assisting the MHE technician III with maintenance of material handling equipment and industrial batteries. The role supports preventive maintenance and repairs, requiring safety awareness and strong mechanical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, with 4 years in MHE maintenance or equivalent. A valid driver’s license, certified equipment handling, and PLC/electrical knowledge are

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; tech school preferred (2 years).
• Four years in an MHE maintenance role or equivalent education/experience.
• Valid state driver's license with liability coverage and certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate adherence to safety policies, procedures and requirements.
• Knowledge of AC/DC low voltage controls and basic electrical repairs.
• Complete small electrical repairs and welding as needed.
• Maintain MHE fleet with preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Read hydraulic/electrical schematics and PLC systems; service drives.
• Assist battery technicians with charger repairs and battery care.
• Log time and materials in CMMS daily via work orders.
• Ensure housekeeping and maintenance area cleanliness.
• Respond to emergencies and uphold overall safety in the department.
• Comply with OSHA and local regulations; support on-call program.
