Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an experienced MHE maintenance professional to oversee safe operation and daily maintenance of Material Handling Equipment and industrial batteries. The role includes supervising when senior staff are unavailable, mentoring junior technicians, and ensuring repairs and PMs are completed to manufacturer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and welding, with a proven track record in maintaining

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; Tech school preferred (2 years).
• Six years in an MHE maintenance position or equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe operation, daily monitoring, and maintenance of MHE and batteries.
• Perform duties of MHE Technician III and guide junior technicians.
• Mentor MHE Tech I–III to advance to higher responsibilities.
• Maintain PMs, inspect belts/chains, and troubleshoot electrical controls.
• Respond to emergencies and uphold safety policies including OSHA requirements.
