Job summary

AA Metals, Inc. is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the sales team and ensure smooth operations within the sales department.

You will manage house accounts, oversee end-to-end order processing, and maintain CRM records, while delivering excellent customer service to clients. Your role includes coordinating with procurement and other departments to ensure seamless order execution and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative roles.
• Knowledge of the metal industry and products (steel, aluminum) is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with CRM and MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of house accounts to meet/exceed annual sales targets (1.5 million lbs budget).
• End-to-end order processing: quoting, follow-up, entry, verification, and cross-department coordination.
• Review and approve orders entered by others for completeness and compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Maintain accurate records of orders and customer interactions in the CRM/database.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to foster loyalty.
• Provide coverage for Account Managers and Sales Management when needed.
• Maintain and update the customer database with accurate information.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with procurement to ensure availability for orders.
• Identify aged/non-stock inventory and prepare targeted offers.
• Track and analyze sales data; prepare reports and updates for customers and management.
• Collaborate with the sales team to generate sales leads.
• Research industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities.
