Job summary

Alpha Steel Sales Inc. in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage orders from inquiry to delivery, coordinate shipping documentation, and liaise with mills, freight forwarders, and customers to ensure accurate, timely completions.

You will support pricing, inventory checks, and follow-ups while maintaining compliance and meticulous records. This on-site role offers growth within a long-established steel trading company and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales coordination, order processing, or documentation roles (preferably in steel, metals, trading, manufacturing, or logistics/import-export environments).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing commercial and shipping documents.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective coordination with customers and internal/external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales orders from inquiry through delivery, including entry, confirmation, and status updates.
• Prepare and manage commercial and shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, BLs, certs of origin, test certificates).
• Liaise with customers, mills/suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers for timely documentation and deliveries.
• Track shipments and communicate delays or issues to internal teams and customers.
• Maintain organized records of sales transactions, contracts, and compliance docs.
• Support pricing updates, inventory checks, and customer follow-ups.
