Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Metal Fabrication Manager to oversee daily operations of the metal fabrication department.

You will lead fabrication personnel, manage production planning, and ensure quality and safety standards while aligning with project requirements and schedules. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in metal fabrication, 3+ years in supervision, and strong leadership with Lean manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in metal fabrication or related field.
• 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
• Advanced knowledge of metal fabrication processes, tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Strong reading of blueprints, schematics, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the metal fabrication department and set daily/weekly production priorities.
• Supervise and develop fabrication personnel, including Supervisors, Leads, and Fabricators.
• Coordinate with Project Management and Engineering to align fabrication with project schedules and customer specs.
• Monitor performance, safety, quality, and productivity; conduct regular performance reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the department.
