Job summary

Panelmatic is seeking an experienced Fabrication Welder Lead to guide the fabrication team in welding and metal fabrication. You will balance hands‑on production with coaching, ensure safety, quality, and schedule compliance, and help develop team members in a fast-paced shop environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years welding experience, can read drawings, and leads by example in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding and metal fabrication experience in manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Previous lead, mentor, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MIG welding; TIG welding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fabrication activities and assign work to team members.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding and general metal fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, and shop documentation.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components using hand and power tools.
