Panelmatic is seeking an experienced Fabrication Welder Lead to guide the fabrication team in welding and metal fabrication. This hands-on leadership role combines technical guidance with quality oversight to produce high-quality components for custom control panel assemblies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years welding and metal fabrication experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Previous lead, mentor, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in MIG welding; TIG welding experience preferred.
• Ability to weld and fabricate mild steel, stainless, and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fabrication activities and direct team members.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding and general metal fabrication tasks.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal components with hand/power tools.
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to fabrication team members.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve workflow.
• Monitor progress to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area following 5S principles.
