Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication setting.
• Advanced knowledge of fabrication processes, tools, and machinery.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance procedures (QAPs).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, and mentor a team of fabricators, ensuring safety and production goals.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
• Assign tasks based on skill sets and project requirements; balance workload.
• Coordinate with project managers and departments to meet deadlines.
• Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing to prevent delays.
• Oversee setup and operation of fabricating machines.
• Ensure products meet dimensional and quality requirements per blueprints.
• Review and approve final inspections before delivery.
• Identify and resolve fabrication issues to minimize downtime and waste.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Maintain records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and team performance.
• Report KPIs, including productivity and material usage.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment.
